Google referrals is now live!!!

Monetize, News 1 Comment »

The much awaited Google referrals is now available for publishers. This means that advertisers can now place CPA ads also via their Google Adwords account. The ads placed look similar to the normal Adsense units but the link points to the referral url.

Publishers are paid not on the basis of clicks but on actions performed by users. For example a qualified action could be a purchase, signing up to a trial offer etc.

The publisher user interface is still not very user friendly but publishers will not mind. This is probably another chance to quickly boost the earnings.

SEO Services More Refined Now?

Marketing & Advertising, News No Comments »

Search engine optimisation or SEO services, in short, have somehow always been associated with underhand techniques. That probably had more to do with black hat SEO practitioners who like all others in their own fields ensured that the entire industry had a bad and notorious name. There have been umpteen stories of how websites had been banned after their SEO specialist created doorway pages and added the site to link farms in order to get it to the front page of Google. SEO-ers have been again known to commit number one rankings to customers and get away with their hard earned money without fulfilling their promise. But as with all other industries, things are changing - and changing for the better.  Companies are now ensuring that they are more transparent with their dealings with customers. In fact search engine optimisation companies like VisualScope have gone one step ahead and shown the results of their work online. Read the rest of this entry »
