Faced with growing competition and finding itself lagging behind, ReviewMe, the blog advertising arm of TextLinkAds, has opened up its marketplace to allow lower paying oppurtunities. This is apparently a desperate move when it is considered that only a couple of months back, ReviewMe allowed publishers to readjust their prices so that more advertisers could be attracted. The minimum price was still set at a comparitively higher $40 per blog.

With this change there are a number of advertiser oppurtunities offering as low as $5 to blog owners. Even with a 50% revenue share for ReviewMe, it is still a low $10 cost to the advertiser.

The new system displays relevant tasks to publishers when they login to their control panel. They can acept offers they are interested in.

Patrick Gavin is known to spend tons of money in attracting new members for his programs (remember the $100 in free links offer?). So this change in strategy could very well be another one of his moves to capture a larger share of the pie.
